Beam me up, Scotty!
Total verified word count tonight before collapsing asleep: 20,036. That only leaves 3302 to finish tomorrow to get back up to date.
Argh.
Props to Scott, who pulled out the whip and started crackin' it on me. I don't think I would have gotten as far as I did without your help, so thank you. :D And if you ever need a dive with a change of scenery from your regular joint, we can always go back to the Concord Denny's!
Of course, when I got home, I found out the puppies were unhappy with me. So unhappy, in fact, that one of them had barfed on the bed. Yumm. Thanks. So I just spent the last 45 minutes stripping the bed down to the mattress and replacing all the sheets and blankets, and starting the yicky ones in the washer.
They seem to be better now - at least no active barfing going on. So hopefully whatever it was got out of their systems. In the meantime, I'm planning to collapse in bed, and hopefully dream up more plot twists and insipid dialog like I was coming up with earlier this evening.

It was fun and we'll do it again before the month is over! :P
So sorry to hear about puppy being sick.
Did you know that barf is a four letter word? *smirk*
I hope puppy get's feeling better soon. That is so sad :(
I must admit though - denny's food and I don't agree, luckily I remind myself once a year why I prefer restaurants that close. I bet Puppy had some of my fries - didn't he?!
I did manage to add 300 to my nano word count... but I am satisfied with my blog post.
Last night I drempt about the nano story. I realized what was missing! Jim cannot meet Bill and Margot yet? Why you ask, because he needs to me Jeff. And who's Jeff? Jeff is Mickey's first love - the love the Jim never knew about - the love that is sitting in McDonalds with he trickofthenight when he overhears the story .... (and then what happens) tonight I'll be writing and you better be too!

Boy, you're not kidding about barf being a four-letter word! It wasn't the only one I was saying last night either. At least it's a four letter word that makes me laugh because it sounds so funny!
Turns out that it was both dogs that were barfing. I felt like I was cleaning up after they had gone on a bender or something, making sure their heads were aimed at something easily cleanable (like linoleum or paper towels) instead of something less than cleanable (couches, carpets, etc). I figured trying to hold their heads over the toilet would be a big fight... they seem to be over it now, but I'm not betting on it quite yet.
You dreamt about your story??!?! I'm so jealous. I had dreams last night, but they're not fit for company so I won't be sharing... but needless to say, they weren't NaNo related at all!
And yes, I'm planning on writing tonight. In fact, my goal for the evening is to hit 25K so that I will *finally* not be behind, and even make a little bit of extra ground. We'll see. I might have to buy myself a special bottle of wine for the evening........................
